Workshops concerts aim to reinvent the concert experience by rediscovering spontaneity, sharing and exchange with the public.
Le Concert de la Loge and Le Quatuor Cambini-Paris present several different concepts engaging music in dialogue with other arts, crafts, sciences or gastronomy.
Speakers are invited to present their discipline and its links with the music are then teased out, allowing the audience to traverse a sensory or historical experience:
• a museum curator revealing the long work of analysis required to restore lost original colors, or comparing the transition from sketch to painting with the process from sightreading a work to achieve an interpretation of it
• a chef cooking Haydn’s favorite broth during a concert…
These concerts, which combine the publics of museums and libraries with ordinary music-lovers and gourmets, make classical music accessible to all thanks to a transversal approach.
